There are plenty of Jeep® models available here at MotorWorld Chrysler, but how do you know which kind of Jeep SUV is right for you? Let's take a closer look at the kinds of SUVs in our lineup and what they have to offer.

Crossovers

Many of the Jeep models referred to as SUVs are technically crossovers. “True” SUVs must be constructed in a certain way, which we’ll touch on later. Crossovers are built in the same manner as most cars, they are lighter, and they offer better fuel efficiency than you might expect.

That doesn't mean that they're not capable though. When properly equipped, models like the Jeep Compass, Jeep Renegade, and Jeep Cherokee are ready for off-road adventuring and other tough tasks.

Body-on-Frame SUVs

A “true” SUV is built in a different way, with a “body-on-frame” construction. These vehicles tend to be heavier and quite rugged. There aren't many of these models left, but there are a few in the Jeep lineup.

The most notable ones are the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. These SUVs are perfect for adventurous drivers who want to go off-road and tackle the toughest terrain. They can even tow a trailer when properly equipped.

Three-Row SUVs

If you're looking for the perfect family car, one of our three-row SUVs might catch your eye. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is already quite spacious, but the option to add a third row has made it an even better choice for families.
