Trim Levels

One of the biggest factors influencing the price of your RAM 1500 is which trim level you choose. There are more basic models that make for the perfect work trucks, more luxurious trim levels that offer more features, and high-performance trims. Starting prices for them look like this:

  • Tradesman: $37,410
  • Big Horn: $42,625
  • Laramie: $52,575
  • Rebel: $52,800
  • Longhorn: $59,335
  • Limited: $63,750
  • TRX: $81,055

For most trims, that's their starting MSRP with a 4x2 drivetrain.

Drivetrain

Most models come standard with a 4x2 drivetrain and a 4x4 option that costs extra. Opting for a 4x4 RAM 1500 will add $3,800 to the cost of most trim levels.

Cab Options

Most RAM 1500 trim levels also offer you a choice between different cabs. The Tradesman and Big Horn models come standard with a Quad Cab and a six-foot, four-inch box. Upgrading to a Crew Cab with a five-foot, seven-inch box will cost an additional $2,700. Upgrading to a Crew Cab with a six-foot, four-inch box will cost $3,000.

The Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited come with a Crew Cab and a five-foot, seven-inch box included. Upgrading to a six-foot, four-inch box will cost an additional $300.

Engines

Finally, different engines can add to your vehicle's cost. Most trim levels offer the following engines:

  • 3.6-liter V6 engine: Standard
  • 5.7-liter V8 engine: $2,795 extra
  • 3.0-liter V6 Turbodiesel engine: $4,995 extra

All of these numbers are estimates and don’t take into account market changes or destination and handling charges. If you're ready to build a 2023 RAM 1500 of your own, visit our RAM dealers in PA. We'll answer any questions that you have about this truck and all of the options it has to offer.
